Care Instructions
To ensure the longevity, shine, and natural appearance of your premium Raw Cambodian hair, we’ve created a straightforward care guide to help you maintain your unit in top condition.
-
Pre-Bleached Perfection
All units come pre-bleached for medium to dark skin tones. To preserve the strength and durability of the hair, avoid bleaching it a second time. Excessive bleaching can weaken the hair knots and lead to premature shedding. Should additional lightening be necessary, use a 10V developer, and limit the bleaching time to 20-25 minutes. -
Weekly to Bi-Weekly Cleansing
Wash your unit every one to two weeks, alternating between a silicone and sulfate-free clarifying shampoo and a moisturizing shampoo to remove product buildup without stripping the hair of essential moisture. Follow each wash with a conditioner or treatment mask to restore hydration and leave hair looking soft, vibrant, and nourished. -
Safe Chemical Processing
When chemically treating your unit, proceed with caution to prevent over-processing and potential damage. For permanent color, limit developer strength to 10V; for lifting (up to a 613 blonde), use no more than a 20V developer. Be sure to space out any chemical treatments, allowing time for the hair to recover between sessions. On processed hair, weekly restorative treatments are essential to maintain hair integrity. -
Gentle Handling & Night Protection
To protect your unit, always handle it with care. At night, wrap it in a silk bonnet to retain moisture and prevent friction, which can lead to dryness and tangling. When not in use, store your hair in a silk bag to keep it in peak condition. -
Heat Styling Precautions
For heat styling, always apply a quality heat protectant to minimize split ends and dryness. Use low to medium heat settings and avoid excessive styling to prolong the life of your unit.
By following these care instructions, you’ll keep your Raw Cambodian hair looking luxurious, natural, and long-lasting, allowing you to enjoy its beauty and quality for years to come.
